There's just something so perfect about the way plaid and fall go hand in hand. You can wear plaid tops so many different ways, so I wanted to share four simple ways you can wear plaid this fall and the best part is, I'm featuring a $15 plaid top from Walmart. I know!!! Walmart has some of the cutest pieces lately, and I love how budget-friendly they are.
Look One // Causal with denim & booties
This is the simplest and easiest way to wear a plaid top--throw on your favorite pair of dark denim and brown booties, and you're ready to go! Personally, I love to do a half tuck in the front, but you could leave it out, do a french tuck, or tie it. Love your style and own it.
Look Two // Open with a graphic tee and leopard flats
Do you love the option of being able to take off the plaid top--especially on warmer fall days?! This is the perfect look for you. Put on your favorite fall graphic tee and layer with the plaid top left open. You can also pair this with dark skinny denim like in look one, or this look where I paired with black kick crop denim for a little something different!
Look Three // Tied for a cute fall date night outfit
I think this might be one of my favorite ways to style plaid in the fall. I'm obsessed with suede skirts, so add a plaid top tie at the waist, and it's fall happiness. I so wish I had a darker brown hat on, but you get the idea! :) I have this paired with brown studded sandals as a date night option, but you could totally wear this with booties or flats, too.
Look Four // Tied around your waist with biker shorts, tee & sneakers
This look is what I like to call my Mama style. Biker shorts have become a wardrobe staple for me--in fact, I'm still wearing them now, because they are so comfortable! You can style them in so many different ways, including with the plaid top tied around your waist. It just adds a little something else besides a t-shirt and biker shorts.
Bonus look--I have seriously been loving this top so much, I wore it the other day with a different graphic tee and with my new leopard flats. Of course, Bentley wanted to be in the picture, too. Jk. He just wanted to climb on the wall. haha!
