The holidays truly are the most wonderful time of the year. From party after party and seeing friends and family, I always find myself in need of a little outfit inspo. I put together a casual dress option to inspire you as you're putting together your holiday outfits this season.
I have a love for dainty jewelry and plaid during the holidays and add in a pair of black booties, and it's outfit perfection. I even added a pair of tights, which are needed on a chilly day. I am always wearing a stack on my wrist--I love, love the look as I pair my two-toned watch with my David Yurman pieces.
Another piece of jewelry I've added to my collection is the gorgeous Love Me Knot ring in gold from Aurate. I'm all about mixing metals, and though this ring is a statement ring, it's still dainty enough if you have smaller hands and doesn't feel overwhelming. I have worn it on my ring finger and middle finger, which is a size 6 for size reference.
For my outfit, my plaid dress is a forever staple in my closet. I don't have a link for it since it's a few years old, but keep an eye on LOFT's styles--it's from LOFT three years ago, and they always bring back styles! My control top tights are also from LOFT, and I can't wear any other tights. They stay up all day, and they're a little thicker than other tights, so they don't rip as easily!
Lastly, we have to talk about my ankle booties! They are a gorgeous faux-suede and have a sinched ankle. Oftentimes, I find booties with too big of an ankle opening, but since these have the tie, you can make them as tight around the ankle as you need. They are the perfect addition to your holiday outfits and look great with a dress, skirt, pants, or denim.
