I love having a big farmhouse table. Upgrading our dining area has been my favorite project that Chris and I have done since getting married. It's perfect for entertaining guests and spending time with loved ones. There's nothing better than a house full of people and to have a table to sit all together.
As I was thinking of how to upgrade my place settings and centerpiece, I wanted to choose a theme that would work year-round. When I initially purchased my white dishes, I knew that they would be versatile in each and every season. The blue & white floral dishes at the head seats were a Home Goods find from the other week, and they fit our Farmhouse decor theme so perfectly. Our dining table & chairs were wedding gifts and we will be forever grateful for them. Okay enough rambling from me. Enjoy!

What do you guys think?! I think that I will forever be obsessed with the farmhouse theme. I blame Chip and Jo. ;) OH WAIT. OKAY. Did anyone else see that Chip & Jo have a line coming to Target in November?! Brb. Spending all of my money!
Stay Classy.

Kristen
Love the simplicity and beauty.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kristi!
DeleteThat is so pretty! I think I have those exact same white dishes so don't mind me if I completely steal your look. ;-) I love how pretty and clean that tablescape is.
ReplyDeleteGo for it girly! Pretty dishes make for pretty tablescapes! :)
DeleteIt looks great! I love how you used greenery as a runner. It beautifully replaces my pet peeve: a big centerpiece that makes it hard to have a conversation. I love blue and white together, this is a timeless look that you'll probably never get tired of.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH YES--SAME! haha! I totally feel ya on that. I like being able to see who I talk to or I will move the centerpiece lol! And thank you! It's definitely a classy color combo.
DeleteLove your dining room! These photos are so beautiful too!

DeleteThis looks awesome! It's so true that getting your first table big enough to host all of your favorite people is such an exciting upgrade. We made that a priority when we were furniture shopping in our new house, and I love figuring out how to decorate it!
ReplyDeleteYes! I can't wait to have another dinner party super soon.
DeleteLove how you styled this. Looks so lovely.

I am in love with this simple farmhouse tablescape. This is favorite for fall.
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty and elegant!!! Love it very much! Wish I had a separate dining room area cause I would have it all decorated as well! :)
ReplyDeleteSo I need you to come over when I find a bigger place and help me decorate. This is so cute and my kind of style.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! We picked white dishes too, because they are so versatile. I've never regretted that decision!
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with the accent plates - so pretty. Love the greenery - can't wait to get a real table so I can do the same!

ReplyDeleteI love this! We just purchased a farmhouse table and bench (yet to be delivered) and I've been consulting my muses (read "obsessively pinning on Pinterest") for ideas. I can't wait to tell my husband that we now have to buy white dishes. :-) He'll be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteOkay, wow! Your house is so stinking beautiful and I'm impressed with how amazing this tablescape is. I just pinned a photo because those dishes with the plants are so dreamy :)
ReplyDeleteGirl, you already know how obsessed I am with your tablescape! We have a farmhouse table that is almost identical to yours that Brad built. Right now we just have benches but I'm sure we will add chairs in the mix. Seriously, can I live there?!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I love the setup!
