Happy Monday and happy October! Can you believe that fall is in full swing, the leaves are starting to change, and yes, it's already October. Is this year flying by on a jet plane, or what?! For my usual monthly goals post I'm switching things up a bit, because I want to give you more of the content you love! I decided to add in an outfit within the post that you're sure to love this fall.
This weekend, I went with Chris and my in-laws to a local farmer's market. It was full of so many vintage finds and I just wanted to buy everything. I ended up coming home with tons of fall flowers and a gorgeous bouquet. I even found an old glass washboard that I scooped up for only $10! It's perfect for the corner of our dining room. I have a few DIY projects up my sleeve to finish up some decor in the apartment that we can take to wherever we end up moving next.
Anywho, since I knew we would be walking around the farmer's market for a few hours, I wanted something comfy and cozy, because it was 60 degrees! PTL for real fall weather. I chose to wear ripped denim (what's new? haha!) with a white cami and green cardi. I had been on the hunt for a long cardigan and I finally found one at Marshalls!

September Goals Revisited
Personal Goals
One // Go on a coffee date with a friend I haven't seen in a while
Gah! I never got to do this. Why is life so busy lately? I did get to go on a coffee date with my bestie, Summer from Coffee with Summer, but I still want to make an effort to connect with a few girlies I haven't seen in a few months.
Two // Finish purging our home & closets
We did this! Just need to take the final load of clothes to be donated/sold. Chris totally crushed me on our monthly competition to see who sells the most on Poshmark.
Blogging Goals
One // Score six sponsored posts for the month
I had exactly six posts for the month! I did it!! Woohoo!! I'm super excited about this and I hope to only grow from here.
Two // Post more style & beauty posts
YAS. I did it! I would still like to post more tutorial style beauty posts, but I'll get there!
October Goals
Personal Goals
One // Secure a steady part-time job on the side of blogging
Blogging is seriously my dream job, but until I become just slightly more established and income is slightly steadier, I'm going to be a responsible adult and attempt to find a part-time job that I don't hate. I have a few options, I'm just waiting to see which is the right fit for me. Chris and I are determined to get a house once our lease is up next summer, so I'm doing all I can to contribute.
Two // Purge my vanity
I have so much makeup in my vanity that I never use and most likely will never touch again. I have makeup from when I worked as a makeup artist and some I get sent in PR packages. A lot of it I love, but if I'm honest, do I really need forty nude eyeshadow palettes? I'm going to give away and sell what I don't use/need.
Blogging Goals
One // Score eight sponsored posts for the month
I had six last month, now I'm going to try and hit eight for the month of October. I already have three scheduled, so I can totally rock another five. I've got this! Essentially, it would be two sponsored posts a week, which is the same, if not more than what I made working full-time as a manager.
Two // Do a readers survey and/or Q&A post
I want to know what you as my readers are thinking and want to see in posts. Personally, I'm leaning more towards a Q&A because it's my birthday month and I think Q&A posts are so much fun, but you tell me what you'd prefer!
