Happy New Year, friends! I can't believe we are in 2018! For my first post of the year, I wanted it to be one that would be beneficial to us all. The beginning of the year is the perfect time to focus a little extra on yourself and focus on the amazing things to come. I came up with a thirty day self care challenge that you can start today or at any time throughout the year.
Throughout this challenge, you will have the opportunity to focus on yourself, better yourself, and treat yourself. Always remember, there is never anything wrong with taking time for you.
Day 1 // Light your favorite candle and read an inspiring book or blog post
Day 2 // Write a list of your goals and dreams
Day 3 // Go to bed early and get a full night's rest
Day 4 // Turn your phone off and watch your favorite show/movie uninterrupted
Day 5 // Declutter a room or closet
Day 6 // Paint your nails or splurge at the salon
Day 7 // Make a new and healthy recipe
Day 8 // Take a walk with a friend
Day 9 // Buy yourself flowers
Day 10 // Listen to your favorite songs
Day 11 // Snuggle your fur baby
Day 12 // Do something you've always wanted to do
Day 13 // Buy yourself new pillows or a cozy blanket
Day 14 // Write a list of ten things you're thankful for
Day 15 // Call or text an old friend and schedule a lunch date
Day 16 // Donate old clothes you don't wear anymore
Day 17 // Compliment a stranger
Day 18 // Take a relaxing shower/bath and do a hair mask
Day 19 // Clean out your junk drawer
Day 20 // Write down five things you love about yourself
Day 21 // Spend an extra five minutes on your skincare & makeup routine
Day 22 // Buy yourself a new outfit that makes you feel beautiful
Day 23 // Make your favorite meal
Day 24 // Talk with a friend you trust about anything you may need to talk through
Day 25 // Schedule a doctor's appointment you've been postponing
Day 26 // Wear your favorite outfit
Day 27 // Do a face sheet mask or peel
Day 28 // Text three people to tell them how much you appreciate them
Day 29 // Organize your desktop and clear out your inbox
Day 30 // Write down three things you learned about yourself over the past thirty days
