A SUMMERTIME BACKYARD PICNIC

This summer we've embraced staying home and spending more time with just our little family. We don't have a budget for an extravagant family vacation, but we've realized that spending quality time together is all we need. Heading out of the house just seems so overwhelming with a toddler and baby right now, but on those gorgeous summer days, we love to play in the backyard.

We don't have a huge backyard, but we make the most of the space we do have. I transformed the space under our deck into a European-inspired patio a couple of years ago and it's still one of my favorite diys. We're able to utilize our outdoor space so much more. The way our home faces, our backyard is always perfectly shaded in the afternoons and evenings, too.

This past week, Red Rovr sent me their darling adventure blanket and I am obsessed! It's the perfect size for our family and I love that it folds up into a carrying bag effortlessly! The backing is water resistant so moisture won't sink through. You can also toss it in the wash or easily wipe it when needed. As a boy mama, I love the Picnic Blue color.

Once we set up our blanket, we grabbed our snackle box and bluetooth speaker and had ourselves a little dance party meets picnic. It was exactly what we needed. A simple, effortless adventure that allowed us to get outside and spend time together.

If you're headed to the beach, an outdoor concert, or a picnic in the park (or your own backyard!) be sure to grab an Adventure Blanket--use my code: ACLASSYFASHIONISTA for 15% off your order!
